Introduction
Panchakarma is a classical Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapy consisting of five major cleansing procedures. It aims to remove accumulated toxins (ama), balance the doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), restore digestive fire (agni), and promote overall health and longevity. Panchakarma is not only a detox therapy but a comprehensive mind–body purification system, performed under the supervision of trained Ayurvedic physicians.
